Our services endorse our aim of supporting individuals in their own home for as long as possible
Our work provides regular social contact through home-based visits. It builds friendships and helps older people keep in touch with their community alleviating their feelings of isolation and increasing their confidence and self-esteem.
As a result people are able to eat better, are able to access medical and social appointments through our transport service, and potential mental and/or physical health problems are spotted earlier, reducing the need for long term statutory care. Our local volunteer service responds quickly to meet individual needs and supports our aim of supporting individuals in their own home for as long as possible.
